Presentations Overview

Is the Hispanic market a priority for you? Are you engaging with the growing number of Hispanic consumers and businesses? "Are you missing out on sales to a $1 trillion dollar purchasing power market?"

Hispanic TV and Digital Upfront gathers media professionals from many countries in the TV, digital and advertising fields, including buyers and exhibitors.

In North American television industry, an upfront is a meeting hosted at the start of important advertising sales periods by television network executives, attended by press and major advertisers. It is so named because of its main purpose, to allow marketers to buy commercial airtime "up front", or several months before the television season begins.

In the United States, the major broadcast networks' upfronts occur in New York City during the third week of May, being the last full week of that month's sweeps period. Networks announce their fall primetime schedules, including tentative launch dates (i.e., fall or mid-season) for new programming, which may be "picked up" the week before. Programming announcements themselves are usually augmented with clips from the new series, extravagant musical numbers, comedic scenes, and appearances by network stars, and take place at grand venues such as Radio City Music Hall or Carnegie Hall. Most cable networks present earlier in the spring since they usually program for the summer months; press attention to these announcements is usually much lighter.

This year’s Presentations will include a two-hour networking business reception where industry, talent and the new players will be able to connect in a more relaxed environment at the crossroads of the world.

Recording devices and cameras, still or video are prohibited in the main Room. It is also forbidden the distribution of any material regardless of their type at the Venues unless previously authorized in writing by Management.

Warning on 'fictitious' emails

It has been brought to our attention that fraudulent e-mail messages are being sent by individuals purporting to be representatives of Hispanic TV Upfront.

These messages have used the names of tvupfront management team, but are not sent from tvupfront e-mail addresses (often they use Yahoo or Hotmail addresses).

Typically, though not exhaustively, the messages take the form of invitations offering membership or the possibility to participate in tvupfront events (e.g. “Conference 09”) as an individual or as part of a ‘delegation’. They ask the potential ‘victim’ to respond for further information.

Ultimately the recipient will be asked to provide passport and bank details, and finally payment (usually via Western Union or MoneyGram) to the fictitious TVupfront representative.

These e-mails are not legitimate TVupfront communications, and are in fact a form of advance fee fraud. Their objective is to mislead victims into paying for a fictitious membership or event registration.

• E-mails from tvupfront are only sent from addresses which end in: @tvupfront.com

• Hispanic Television Upfront does not use Western Union or MoneyGram to receive payments

* We accept credit cards on a secure server environment only (https://www.tvupfronts.com) with some other extension after this

• Participation in our events / conferences is by invitation only and is reserved exclusively for Members of the Hispanic Television Group and invited guests

Security & Inspections

As with all public gatherings, there will be security present at the Presentations. All attendees and their belongings are subject to inspection. For your convenience, please do not bring anything other than necessities for the day.

Specific items that may be confiscated are weapons, signage of any type, outside food or beverages, video cameras and any other items that security feels are not appropriate.

For the enjoyment of all participants, inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and violators will be removed from the premises.

Do not leave personal items or bags anywhere in the building. Unattended bags will be removed by security.

Cancellation Policy


You can cancel your ticket 30 days before the event. No transfers, assignments and endorsements are allowed and no credit towards future events will be issued
